At CoFam, this is what we believe.
With CoFam – The Company Family Program, we specialize in planning and coordinating cross-border exchange programs for employees’ children within international companies. We combine professional organization and personal support with many years of experience in international exchange and intercultural learning.
CoFam was founded by Dr. Julia Funke and taken over by Indre Bermann in 2021.
Indre Bermann has more than 25 years of experience in international exchange programs and intercultural learning. Her own international experience began during her school years with a year-long exchange. She later completed part of her university studies in China, and worked there for several years. Throughout her career, she has worked with people from different countries and cultures – both in Germany and abroad. These different perspectives continue to shape the way CoFam’s exchange programs are designed and supported today.

Indre Bermann verfügt über mehr als 25 Jahre Erfahrung mit internationalen Austauschprogrammen und interkulturellem Lernen.
Ihre eigene internationale Erfahrung begann bereits während der Schulzeit mit einem Austauschjahr. Später absolvierte sie einen Teil ihres Studiums in China, kehrte einige Jahre später dorthin zurück und arbeitete dort mehrere Jahre. Seit vielen Jahren arbeitet sie mit Menschen aus unterschiedlichen Ländern und Kulturen – in Deutschland ebenso wie im Ausland. Diese unterschiedlichen Perspektiven fließen heute in die Gestaltung und Begleitung der Austauschprogramme ein.

Our exchange program offers young people the opportunity to gain valuable international experience and get to know new cultures. However, we are aware of the environmental challenges associated with air travel and want to do our part to keep the ecological footprint as small as possible. That is why we make an annual donation to the recognized organization Atmosfair.
Atmosfair is committed to climate protection worldwide and supports projects, that have been carefully
developed and tested scientifically to support sustainable development in all its dimensions. Perhaps you would also like to consider offsetting your carbon footprint from air travel. Atmosfair offers a lot of interesting information on this topic on its website.
